Got a call from someone claiming to be from Homebase. They said I’d taken out an appliance cover with them a couple of years back. When I told them I hadn’t, they insisted I did and warned that if I didn’t stop disputing it, they’d charge my card regardless. Quite pushy and rude really.

I've received a call claiming that I've got an outstanding balance due to some supposed TV insurance with them. I'm yet to lay my hands on any documentation to back up their assertion. Quite the wait it’s turning out to be!
