Loads of calls come through around lunchtime, so I usually just let them ring out now. But I always check who called by using 1471. Today, it showed this number, and after checking the info on here, I've decided not to call it back.

They ring up all the time and, just like others have mentioned, they always seem to hang up straight away. When I tried returning the call, I got a recorded message saying, "Welcome to Energy Saving Solutions," then it went through a bunch of menu choices. Quite irritating, really.

I'm in complete agreement with Phil's sentiments. The Telephone Preference Service seems utterly pointless. Seriously, what’s the actual value of OFCOM when it comes to hunting down these obnoxious callers like the one I've just had the misfortune to deal with? It's utterly baffling!

Got a call earlier today but couldn't answer it. Tried ringing back two times and got a recorded message each time with an American accent saying "all agents are busy, please hold." Quite annoying!
