However, on that one rare instance when I did pick up, I discovered it was a finance firm hailing from Manchester. They seem to be employing a switchboard to trick people into thinking they're calling from a "local" number-this time, it was one from Plymouth, 01752. Quite the cheeky tactic, if you ask me!
