Received a call purporting to be from the technical support team of Virgin Media. The person had a thick accent which made the conversation rather tricky to follow. Naturally, I declined to provide any personal details, and before I knew it, they terminated the call on me. Interestingly, as per this site, it appears that the number belongs to Sky, which is quite puzzling-why would Virgin Media be utilising a Sky number? I can't help but think this was likely a scam; if they were genuinely from Virgin, they would surely have my name on file.
