This lady called me about some small car accident claim, but started off by using my name which was a bit creepy. She was just fishing for info. I told her I wasn't interested and ended the call right there. I then blocked the number. Feels like harassment and maybe even a scam.

So don't just trust a call 'cause they’ve got some of your details or say they’re from an organisation you deal with.

Got a call from an Asian bloke claiming he wanted to check up on a car crash I’d supposedly had. When I pressed him for the date of the accident, he kept dodging the question. Honestly, it reeks of a scam. He only knew my name, nothing else. Don’t give them any info, just hang up and block them straight away!

I picked up and the bloke said he was from IMS, asking about an accident I supposedly had in the past couple of years. I was like, “seriously?” and he just yelled back, “seriously!” I then asked where the accident was meant to have taken place, but there was just silence for a bit before he disconnected. I heard other people talking in the background like a call centre. I've never been in any accident, so I’ve blocked the number now.
