Got a call from a lady claiming to be from my local energy provider. I told her I’m actually about 300 miles away from Plymouth, and she replied that their headquarters are in Plymouth but they have branches all over the UK. She was ringing about loft insulation, but I wasn’t interested at all. Then she blocked the number, another dodgy one to ignore.

Got a call from a nice bloke in the UK claiming to be from Evergreen Energy. He was quite polite but I ended the chat straight away. If it really was Evergreen Energy, they deal with things like solar panels, insulation and heat pumps. Not bothered to find out more though.

Got a call from a really nice young chap asking if he could do a survey on my loft. He was full of praise which felt a bit off. I just said he could ring again when my other half was around, then I went ahead and blocked the number.

Got a call from something called Cisco Homes which was pretty strange. When I answered, some robotic voice just told me "this is Cisco Homes, if you're interested call this number" and then it gave a local phone number. I didn’t bother calling back - who even does that? Makes no sense why they'd bother making a call just to ask you to ring them.
