Got a call from someone saying they were with BT offering a quote on a 5G fibre broadband plan. I didn’t really trust it, so I just refused to give out any personal info.

Got a call earlier today on my mobile, some bloke saying he was from BT about my contract. The info he gave was pretty off and didn’t add up. Why would they ring my mobile instead of the landline linked to the account? I said I wasn’t convinced it was really BT and asked him to send the details to the official BT email they should have on file. Still waiting on that email, nothing so far.
