We got targeted by scammers using the 01752 2773859 number from Plymouth, which is a BT line. They must have picked us up from a directory or something. Afterwards, we ended up receiving horrible calls from different places across the UK, and we had no clue what was going on at first.

I got a call on my mobile from this number but didn’t pick up, and there was no voicemail or anything. It got me curious after seeing some earlier comments here. I recently bought something off Amazon with that deal for a free 30-day Prime trial, which I’m planning to cancel before the month’s up. Then, some hours later, a different number rang my landline - 01526408537 - and I don’t think anyone except my mum even has that number. Didn’t answer that one either and again, no message left! Bit odd if you ask me.

Got a robocall telling me £399 was going to be taken from my bank account. They said I needed to ring up to stop some subscription. Total scam, watch out!

Didn't pick up, no voicemail either. Even though the number had a 01752 code, it came through as an overseas call. Bit strange really.

I keep getting these dodgy calls on my landline about Amazon Prime. It’s some robotic voice telling me my Prime subscription is about to renew for £79.99, and if I want to cancel, I need to talk to a real person. They ring me around three times a week, which is proper annoying! Definitely seems like a scam to me.
