Got a call at 2.55 today from a bloke named Matthew who said he was from some government scheme about loft insulation. I just hung up since I don't want any loft insulation. Then, at 5.44 this evening, the same Matthew rang again, this time from 01208 638782, with the same spiel. It’s the same person, same voice. I’m getting really annoyed now because this guy has called me 7 times over the last 3 days. I’m signed up to the TPS but it hasn’t stopped them at all. Both numbers are blocked now.

Got a call out of the blue from some local number saying something about unsafe loft insulation and some new government thing. They asked if I was the person living at the address and I said yes. Then I asked who was calling and said I was the police. They didn't waste any time and ended the call straight away!

Got a call from some bloke trying to push loft insulation on me, said he was working for the government or something. When I asked him a few questions he just ended the call straight away. Proper muppet.

Like I said before (check the comment below), since I'm ex-directory, I reckon it was just some random number looking to call about something.

There was a long pause before I could hear the person on the other end, so I ended the call. As I was hanging up, I caught a bloke’s voice. I called back and he was still there, talking about insulation and some storage boxes in the attic. I told him to go over it again since I hadn’t heard the beginning, but then he just disconnected.

this number rang me up, i had to say hello a few times before someone answered. the bloke said his name was mathew and he was calling about some ‘government scheme’. he claimed they’d done loft insulation at my place, which i knew nothing about. i told him i was confused and next thing, he just cut me off. seems like a dodgy scam to me.

this number rang me up and i said hello like three times before anyone answered. a bloke finally came on and said his name was Mathew and that he was ringing about some ‘government scheme’. he claimed id had insulation done in my loft, which was news to me. i told him i was a bit confused and he just cut the call off. sounds like a dodgy scam to me.
