This person is really threatening and annoying. They rang me 14 times back to back and left a brief message warning that my computer was about to break down!! I'm planning to cut down the rings on my answerphone so their calls go through and they end up paying for them.

I've just had someone ring me up claiming there was an issue with my computer's Windows. Strangely, he already knew my name! I went along with his spiel about having a problem and cheekily mentioned I needed help clearing out my bank account. Then, just like that, he hung up on me. Quite the cheeky chap!

Received a dubious call with the usual hubbub of an overseas call centre in the background. An Asian gentleman was on the line, and there have been numerous alerts about this number at the safety centre. When I mentioned I suspected it was a scam, he promptly hung up. To top it off, the number seems to be non-existent.

Got a call from David claiming to be from Windows, saying my licence had issues with error messages. He couldn’t say what my email was but somehow knew part of my address and phone number. When I mentioned I’d report him to the police, he just brushed it off with some nonsense. I actually told him his scam act was pretty impressive, then blocked the number straight away.

So many lies, no proper answer but I was waiting for a crucial call. You can hardly make out what they’re saying and the sound is really faint. They’ve been calling me every damn hour for the last 5 days and it’s just ridiculous.

This number keeps popping up on my phone and I’m really fed up now. I’ve messaged them nicely to stop calling but they just won’t quit. My phone has blocked the number, but they still keep attempting to get through. I even said I don’t own any Windows devices or laptops, but they just keep ringing anyway.

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent claiming my computer had a virus and he needed to get into it. For starters, how on earth would they connect my mobile number to my PC? I’m using Windows 10, which would’ve definitely alerted me if there was any problem. Plus I’ve got antivirus on top of that. These people are just daft. Honestly, I feel bad for folks who aren’t good with tech - they usually end up falling for these scams.

Microsoft would never ring up Windows users, think about how huge that would be to pull off. Actually, you can't even call them easily for the same reasons. These people just want your card info to scam you out of your cash and if you let them in on your computer, they can steal loads more stuff. Honestly, they’re just criminals targeting the most trusting folks in a way that’s nearly impossible to track. DON’T FALL FOR IT!
