Someone called saying they were from BT and wanted to have a look at our computer, probably trying to sneak in some kind of malware or ransomware. Definitely dodgy.

So I got a call from 01752 661509 and the person said they were from BT, something about issues with my computer, I think? They had a really thick foreign accent which made it hard to catch what they were on about. I ended up kinda stalling them for almost 4 minutes by asking them to speak slower and spell everything out. Total time waster but felt good to mess with them a bit.

I received a call purporting to be from a technical support centre, but it struck me as highly suspicious. I suspect it's just a scam aimed at getting into my computer. I've since added the number to my blocked contacts.

Just got a dodgy call from 01752661508, these scammers say there's a problem with your PC. Honestly, never let random callers get into your computer, it’s a trap. Stay careful!

Is this a scam or what? They've rang our landline about 5 times now, but it's so hard to make out what they're saying because of the heavy foreign accent and all the background noise. They kept talking about some issue with the internet or broadband, but ours is perfectly fine. I asked to talk to a manager, but the person said they couldn’t hear me, and honestly I couldn’t understand them either. Next time they call, I’m gonna hold on until I get someone to properly complain to.

Ireckon it was a scam, coz when I mentioned I was with BT security, they just dropped the call straight away.

Had a call from 01752 661509. I picked up and could hear voices in the background after I said hello a couple of times, then they just ended the call. Tried ringing them back but it just went to voicemail with no message. This is the second time this has happened - they've rung me and hung up whenever I answer.

Got a call from 01752 661 509, but the line was really noisy like background chatter, maybe a call centre or busy office. I said hello, but they just hung up straight away. Tried ringing back, left a voicemail on 1571 asking who they were and why they called me. It’s been nearly 40 minutes and they still haven’t replied or found my message. Bit strange, really.
