Got a recorded call about Amazon Prime, even tho I haven't got an account. Looks like a scam to me.

The number popped up with a Plymouth area code, so since I’m here in Truro, it didn’t raise any flags at first. Then I got a recorded message from someone with a yankee accent, claiming to be Amazon, telling me to press 2 if I wanted to continue. Surely BT must be able to track these and shut them down? When I ended the call, it suddenly showed as coming from abroad. It’s clear they’re trying to dodge the system somehow. Absolute nuisance, these people ought to be locked up for ages.

Got a call from some call centre, bloke wouldn’t tell me his name. Asked for my partner but when I said she was tied up on another call, he just thanked me and hung up. Bit odd if you ask me.
