Got a random call about needing to come and do some kind of structural inspection on my house. When I told them I wasn’t bothered, they just wouldn’t take no for an answer. They said they were from Michelin 4skin or something like that, which sounded dodgy. The caller was so pushy it was ridiculous and finally hung up after I made it clear I wasn’t interested. The weird part is they knew my wife’s first name, which really set alarm bells ringing. Definitely felt like a scam to me.

I get calls a couple of times a day from this number. I don’t answer calls from numbers I don’t know, so I’m not sure what they actually want. Since they never bother leaving a voicemail, I’m guessing it’s either some kind of sales pitch or a scam. If it was something important, they’d probably leave a message, right?

Today, they phoned once more about some timeshare debts we supposedly owe from a deal we ended ages ago, like 20 years back. I kindly informed the caller during our initial conversation that I wasn't interested in what they were offering. However, when they persisted and called again, I had to be a bit more forthright. The immediate follow-up call felt a bit intrusive, so I mentioned that I was beginning to feel harassed. On yet another attempt, the caller responded rather menacingly, stating, “it’s not harassment unless I physically grab you!” After that unsettling exchange, I decided to look up the number and stumbled upon this site. When he rang once more, I confidently told him that I had verified the number was linked to scams. Thankfully, that seemed to put an end to the calls.

Despite my clear dismissal of his offerings, he was persistently rude and, after I severed the connection, he had the audacity to ring back and insult me, labelling me a "posh git," all the while asserting he was merely here to assist. It's overtly obvious that this chap is a scam artist, and not particularly skilled at that! If there were genuine contractual matters at hand, communication should surely be conducted through written correspondence rather than pestering me with unsolicited phone calls? I can’t recall the company’s name, but the caller insisted I’d broken a contract related to a site in my timeshare group. Thing is, any contract issues should be dealt with by the main company, not an individual site. Plus, he said he was calling from Basildon, yet the number showed a Plymouth 01752 area code. I didn’t bother going on with the chat. For now, I’m labelling it as harassment and plan to ring my timeshare company to check it out.
