I got a call from someone claiming to be collecting money for an animal charity. They wouldn't take no for an answer and kept badgering me for more than 15 minutes, even after I told them I wasn’t in a position to donate right now. Proper annoying!

These dodgy callers never bother to drop a voicemail... which always rings alarm bells for me.

I’d advise you NOT to return their calls under any circumstances........ instead, make sure you do a thorough GOOGLE search of the full phone number, area code and all.
