Just a few minutes ago, I completed an online form to check roughly how much equity release I might qualify for - not that it's necessary since we've got savings. Right after, a call came through from this number, but we've been getting loads of spam calls lately, so I let it ring out to voicemail. The call ended straight away. I’m definitely going to keep this number handy, and if it pops up on my caller ID again, I won’t be picking up.

Had pretty much the same run-in as others have mentioned here. Honestly, felt like pure harassment! All that talk about “no obligation” and “no sales” was just rubbish. I’ll be steering clear of this firm for sure. Their way of doing business really doesn’t sit well with me.

my partner was simply trying to find out about any equity available, and within 10 mins we got an email then a call. luckily our phone is broken right now so it didnt ring but it saved the number. weve blocked it now though, as they seem really pushy and I bet they wont stop pestering us.

I had a really similar thing happen to me. On the 12th of Jan, I filled out an online equity release form from the Daily Telegraph just out of curiosity. They offered a choice to schedule a call to chat about it, so I set one up for the 17th, at a time that suited me. But guess what? I got a call on my mobile just 10 minutes later! I only agreed to discuss it on the 17th, so that felt pretty dodgy. I only trusted the Daily Telegraph enough to put in my details and book a time, but this felt like a bit of a sneaky move on their part. Proper poor show from them.

Just like everyone else's experience, I got a call supposedly about a no obligation equity release quote from Daily Telegraph or something similar. Not even a second after they contacted me, this number popped up on my phone! I’m done with it and blocking them straight away.

I had asked about equity release and they got back to me to follow up.

I just completed one of those equity release applications to see what sort of deal i might qualify for and almost immediately my phone started ringing. The weird part is, i'm pretty sure i never gave them my mobile number! Anyway, I’ve blocked the caller now.

Pretty much like the others have said, right after I put in my details about equity release, this number rang me straight away. When I picked up, no one said anything. Honestly, they've lost any chance of getting my business now.

I did an online form for equity release, it was a Telegraph ad that caught my eye. Straight away I got a call from this number, it seemed like a call centre with noise in the background, but when I answered and said hello, there was nothing and then they hung up. I always assumed the Telegraph was reliable, so I thought it was legit. Honestly, quite disappointed with how it turned out.

Out of curiosity, I got in touch with the equity release service through the Daily Telegraph, but after having a chat, I chose not to go ahead. Still, I ended up getting a call from them later, which honestly isn’t what I expected from the Daily Telegraph.
