so these people were calling saying they wanted to replace our storage heaters for free since my husband is disabled and on benefits. He handed the phone over to me, but then i was left waiting on hold for about 20 minutes before i just hung up. really annoying stuff. they seem to be going after those who are vulnerable. i ended up giving them our dob and email address, now i’m worried they might have used that to access some personal info. honestly, it’s so awful what they’re doing.

i saw an unknown number on my phone so i dialled back. it turned out to be some sort of sales and advertising firm. i didn't quite get their company name as they sent me to an automated voice menu with options like press 1 and so on. there was an option to press 9 to opt out of their calls which i did. right after i pressed it the call just dropped. fingers crossed they won’t bother me again!

I didn’t pick up since the number wasn’t saved in my phone, and when I saw the area code was from Plymouth, I figured it wasn’t anyone I know - I’m based in South Wales after all. Seems like just another random scam call to me.

got a call from an unfamiliar number so i decided to return it. turned out to be some sales and marketing firm. couldn’t really hear their name properly, then it went straight to an answerphone with a menu that said press 1 for this, press 9 to stop calls. i chose 9 and the line just dropped on me. fingers crossed this means no more calls from them.

I had some calls from St Austell and Torquay before, but didnt pick up. No idea who this one could be either, not from round that way at all.

Got a call from a number I didn’t know but I didn’t pick up, just let it ring through to voicemail. They never bothered leaving a message though.

This evening, I got a call from someone named Mike who was trying to sell me a bargain holiday to Spain. It all seemed quite genuine but I had to decline since I’m dealing with some health issues right now.
