Got a call from someone claiming there was an issue with my PC, assuming I was using Windows. He asked for a reference number, something like 888. I suspected it was a scam straight away and hung on to see where it was going, but in the end, he just ended the call.

When I picked up the phone the second time, they were really nasty because they wouldn’t put me through.

I recently received a communication from the BT technical depot, claiming that my connection is in jeopardy. However, I’ve checked thoroughly, and everything seems perfectly fine on my end. I can’t shake the feeling that this is some sort of ploy intended to swipe personal details. Just a heads up to everyone - steer clear of dodgy schemes like this one!

Got a call on the 16th of Jan, 2020 from a woman who sounded Indian and there was quite a bit of noise in the background. She said she was calling from BT, but I didn't really buy it.

Got two calls back to back from this number. The second one left me a garbled voicemail full of background noise, sounded like a chaotic call centre.
