Got a call from someone talking with a heavy accent, sounded a lot like Indian, saying they were from Google Internet Security. They told me my internet licence was at risk and hackers were using my account for dodgy stuff, telling me to turn on my computer and all that. I ended the call and used 1572 to block the number. No sooner had I done that, they rang back from a different number. I asked where they were calling from, and they said California but couldn’t give me a proper office address. I ended the call again and blocked it. This kept happening with various numbers like 01887221495, 01962854353, 01495272877, 01962856666 and 0175291103. Seems like they’re cloning loads of numbers so when you block one, they just switch to another.
