This morning around 9.15, I got a voicemail on our landline claiming there were unauthorised charges on Amazon, with amounts mentioned, but no bank details given. The message prompted you to press keys to either report or talk about it. We hung up straight away, but what caught my eye was the caller ID showing an 01751 number, and also from 448454. Seems like scammers are now faking local numbers to trick people into thinking the call’s legit.
