A caller claimed to be from BT, saying they had to replace some broadband cables outside my house. I told him I’d never got any letter or notice from BT about that and asked for confirmation in writing. He said I’d have to pay for postage if I wanted anything sent out. I told him I doubted he was actually from BT and that I’d speak to them directly if there was an issue. Then he just hung up on me.
