The caller sounded as though he was in a busy call centre or perhaps just had some background clatter. In any case, he insisted that I switch my phone to loudspeaker, claiming he would provide me with a 9-digit code, as he required that to cancel the supposed order. I pointed out that if he truly believed this order was fraudulent, he could simply cancel it without needing any numbers from me. He proceeded to talk over me and displayed quite a bit of rudeness.
