They said they were from some energy provider but didn’t say which one exactly. Asked for my info, I just told them no and hung up straight away.

Absolute scam artists. Best thing is to just ignore them, or even better, humour them and drag the convo out to waste their time. Honestly, it can be quite entertaining.

I just got a call claiming to be from Visa Secure. They said a payment of £600 was requested and told me to press 1 if we didn’t approve it. At first, I hesitated because last week we did make a strange payment of about £1600. Since we knew that one was legit, I chose not to press 1.

Got a call on my mobile from somewhere in Selkirk, which I’m not familiar with at all. They didn't bother leaving a voicemail or anything, so I've just gone ahead and blocked the number.

I got a few calls from this number last night and I'm pretty sure it's from Selkirk, but I dont know anyone from there. I didn't pick up coz I usually ignore numbers I dont recognise. When I checked, both numbers showed up as possible spam callers. Pretty annoying really.
