I got a call warning me my internet and landline would be cut off within 24 hours, then they started trying to pitch me different providers. When I asked straight up if it was a sales call, they sounded annoyed. I said I’d get in touch with BT on my own and deal with it, then they just hung up on me. The call kicked off with a recorded message saying they were BT engineers and I could either discuss the supposed cut-off or just let it go ahead. Feels like whichever option you pick, you end up talking to the same lot anyway.
