Got a call from a traced number but it just keeps telling me the number's wrong. Feels like some kinda scam to me.

So this bloke called saying he was from Amazon, telling me someone was trying to buy a smartphone using my account. Then he said he sent an email for me to look at. I told him straight up he was a scammer and hung up. No emails showed up either :)

They rang me loads throughout the day but never bothered to leave a voicemail.

Somebody said they were from Google, but their English was really bad and they kept jumping around without making sense. Then out of nowhere, they said they wanted to help me confirm my business info on Google Maps - yeah right, as if I’d fall for that!

Got a call from some robotic voice claiming she was an officer from HMRC. She said I had to ring her back straight away on that number or else I'd face a lawsuit and lose loads of money. Felt like a proper scam to me.

Ignored the call and put the number on block straight away.

I didn’t pick up and they didn’t bother to leave a voicemail, so I’m pretty sure it was either spam or a scam. Just gone straight to my blocked list and deleted.
