Today, the 29th of December 2023, I got a call from this number at around 13:27. It’s rung a few times before too. None of the people I know are linked with this number though.

Got a call from 01748-024308, and honestly, these lot seem proper dodgy. If I’ve got time, I usually mess around with them to waste their effort so they might leave others alone. They asked me to move money into some Nationwide account, even read out the account number for me to pass on to the bank - proper sneaky stuff like “don’t tell anyone, we’re undercover.” Then they tried to get me to give them login info for a made-up account I told them about. Obviously, I never gave them nothing. Just really worried about folks who might fall for this rubbish.
