He claimed there were issues with my line due to attempts at hacking. Then, rather awkwardly, he pressed me to access my computer or mobile device. I mentioned that I was not aware of any problems and inquired about their location. When he responded with "Reading," the way he pronounced it was rather off! At that point, I decided to cut the conversation short and hung up. Reflecting on it, I reckon I should have simply said I wasn’t a Virgin Media customer right from the start.
