Got a ring from this number claiming to be Amazon, but I twigged it was dodgy instantly. As a private Amazon customer, they don't have my landline since it's ex-directory anyway - though that seems to be ignored nowadays. They told me to have a look at my emails, then just hung up. I’m baffled that with so many people apparently checking this number, no one’s reported it to the fraud authorities yet? Seems odd!

Got a call but no one said a word, just silence on the line. Quite weird really.

If I don’t recognise the number and there’s no voicemail, I just figure it’s probably a scam and don’t bother answering.

I called and had to wait ages before someone picked up. Then a woman started talking in what sounded like some Eastern European language, not sure. It seemed like a personal chat because they hung up pretty quickly. All I said was hello.

Got a call from someone named Julie saying she was with Zmazon security, talking about an i-phone order. I just hung up straight away cos it sounded dodgy to me.

Got a call from a bloke claiming to be from 'Amazon' saying there was an order dropped in my name. I hung about before saying "hello" and he just hung up straight away. Looked up the number and it starts with 91...92 something. Turns out loads of others have reported calls from that number too, so pretty sure it’s an Amazon scam going on here.

Got a call today from someone saying there was an iPhone ordered on my Amazon account. The voice sounded Indian, and when I asked, he said it was. Then he asked how I knew that. I just said, “That’s normally where these dodgy calls come from,” and then I ended the call.

This bloke rang up acting like he was from Amazon, spouting on about how I’d supposedly shared my info with someone who then splurged loads on my account. I kept telling him there’s no way I gave my details to anyone else and that everything was tightly locked down. He was pushing hard for me to spill all my login info, but I called him out as a scammer straight up. Ended up him swearing at me then just cutting off the call. Proper dodgy.

Got two calls from this number, 07969622776. They said they were from Amazon and wanted me to have a look at my emails, even told me to check the junk folder. Bit odd though, cos they were ringing on my landline!
