I didn't pick up because I didn’t recognise the number. Seems like a scam though, judging by what others are saying.

Got a call from an Asian lady this morning around 8am, said someone had used my details to buy a smartphone. I knew it was dodgy straight away and just told her it was a scam before hanging up. ####

Just like loads of others, I got a call from a bloke named Alex, sounded Asian, claiming to be from the Amazon Security Team. He said someone was attempting to purchase an iPhone using my account. When I asked what action I needed to take, he quickly ended the call - I reckon he figured he wasn’t gonna convince me.

I keep getting calls from this number which apparently comes up as Richmond. But when I answered it, the people said they're a family living in North Yorkshire and that someone has cloned their phone number. It's pretty strange and confusing.

I got a call from someone speaking with an Asian accent saying a £700 phone was purchased on my Amazon account. Thing is, I don’t even have an Amazon account, so it was clearly a scam right from the start.
