Typical con artist, pretending to ring from BT, claiming my computer is riddled with viruses. All they want is for me to switch it on so they can try to pull a fast one.

I received a call from someone claiming to be with the BT tech team, stating that I'd be cut off from my internet for two months due to some baffling issue. I didn't quite grasp what they were on about, so I decided to end the call.

I keep receiving calls on my home phone from this number, and it's becoming quite the nuisance. Occasionally they assert they're from BT, but other times I’m met with nothing but silence. I’ve cut the call a few times, but on one occasion, they had the audacity to ring back a few hours later and insult me for ending the conversation. The caller had a thick Indian accent and it’s clear they're not local. It's absolutely infuriating!
