I received a rather impolite call on my mobile from someone purporting to be with the "Insurance Claims Department." When I requested their contact number or address to register a complaint, they bizarrely replied with my own landline number. Quite the unusual turn of events, I must say!

I've come across a spoofed number here. They've cleverly manipulated my own area code to make it appear as if it's local on my caller ID. My gut feeling is that it's linked to Merseyside but somehow routed through the States. Quite the cheeky trick, isn't it?
