Got a call from someone named Scarlett Perry claiming they had details about an accident I supposedly was part of but it wasn't my fault (which is totally untrue). It seemed to be an automated message cause when I stayed silent, the call just dropped. I've already passed it on to the ICO.

I got a call from some firm claiming to be "Safeway Guidance" asking if I’d been in a no-fault accident in the past year. Thing is, I haven’t had an accident for more than 25 years! When I pressed the woman - she said her name was Scarlett Perry - she told me she got my details from some National Road Traffic Accident agency or something like that (not sure I caught the name right). She abruptly ended the call when I asked whether it’s even allowed to cold call folks just guessing if they’d been in a crash.
