They ring me pretty much daily. When I questioned where they got my number from, they claimed it came from some public database provided by O2. So either O2’s been selling our info to dodgy people (not shocking) or they were just making it up. I told them to remove me from their list, and they said they would, but I’m not holding my breath. They also insisted they’d only called me a couple of times before, yet it’s almost nonstop.

I've been looking into Plan.com for business phone services, and noticed they tie you down with contracts. It's a bit annoying when you want flexibility, but at least the call quality seems decent. Just make sure you really want to commit before signing anything.

Somebody called trying to be this guy named Tom from 'plan.com', saying they wanted to chat about my EE phone contract. As soon as I answered, they just dropped the call. After checking out the company, it looks like they’re pretending to be from mobile providers.

I wouldn't hesitate to ban this number from calling you again. Seriously, just go ahead and block it! They rang me claiming to represent EE, trying to persuade me to assess my existing contract in order to save some cash. When I informed them I wasn't even an EE customer, they abruptly ended the call. Odd, isn't it?

Totally a scam for sure! I was caught out since the caller spoke with a British accent (normally it’s Indian voices), but they were really pushy and got all flustered when I asked if it was a scam, never giving a straight yes or no. First they said they were from O2, then switched to Giffgaff. I’ve had these calls before, and it’s kinda creepy because they initially said I was with Tesco Mobile... now they know I’m with Giffgaff. Honestly, it feels like they’re tracking me, it’s so invasive.
