Got a call from a business I never contacted. They even got part of my last name right. I ended the call pretty quickly and have now blocked the number.

I got a call from a company, maybe Just Glass or something like that. They were asking about doing an energy survey on windows older than 10 years. It felt quite pushy and I wasn’t sure if it was legit or just some sort of scam. Definitely seemed a bit dodgy.

I think they’re grabbing people’s info from Facebook, like names and phone numbers. I actually go by a nickname plus my dad’s last name online just so employers don’t find me when they creep around the internet. Honestly, we should either hide our numbers or just take them off completely.

They kept saying I’d signed up with them somehow, even called me just by my first name. I told them straight away I hadn’t asked for the call and to take me off their list right now. Planning to report them to the FSA for this.
