Warning - Possible Scam! Someone pretending to be Microsoft called me, saying hackers were using my info. They even mentioned my unique license number! The people sounded Asian but had very British names like Emma Smith and a supervisor named Michael Roy, who supposedly comes from Singapore. They rang from numbers like 07511008758, 07511009395, 07771732233, and 07502694389. When I asked for a callback number, they gave me 03448002400 and claimed to be operating out of Reading RG6 1VG. They even threatened to lock me out of my Microsoft account. Be careful!

I got a call from a woman with an American accent claiming she was from Three, even though I’m not a customer. She said she could offer me a better deal. She asked me some questions, but instead of answering, I just asked her something back and then she hung up on me! Definitely felt like a scam to me.

Got a call at 12.46 on 18th Feb 2025. My phone showed it as spam but I figured I’d hear them out anyways. The guy had an Irish accent and was trying to chat about cutting down my Vodafone calls. I told him I’m not with Vodafone (which isn’t true, actually!), and he sounded a bit puzzled. After a bit, I just lost interest and said “no thanks” before hanging up.

The number showed Bridgenorth on my caller ID. The lady on the phone spoke with an Asian accent. She somehow got my bloke chatting to her on my phone while I was in the kitchen. When I returned, he was joking that I just run the business for a bit of extra cash to buy his whiskey… I reckon she lost interest then!

Definitely don’t pick up if it’s a number you don’t know. It’s probably one of those scam calls trying to trick you. Just let it ring out.

Got three calls from a blocked number so far, but no one ever picked up. I usually think if it’s legit, they’d drop a voicemail. So now I’m just blocking it.

Got a call from a man named John, sounded Asian, saying he was with EE and wanted to upgrade my contract. That seemed odd cos I’d only just signed up, so doubt they’re offering upgrades so quick. Plus, from what others have said here, it sounds more like Three trying to pull a scam. Ended up blocking the number straight away.

I got a call from someone named Jodie who said she was ringing on behalf of Plan.com, trying to check if I was happy with my current plan. I wasn't interested and decided not to carry on with the call. It might have been legit, but I’m not totally convinced either way.
