I got a call saying it was about my Vodafone account, but she didn’t actually have any info on it... quite fishy if you ask me!

Just got a call from a Bridgnorth number, which I’m quite familiar with, but the voice on the line didn’t have any Shropshire accent at all. They claimed to be from EE, but it totally seemed like a scam to me.

Got a call from this number today (2nd March 2025, around 11:50). They wanted to discuss something about my mobile, but I told them I wasn't interested and then blocked them straight away.

Got one of those calls claiming they can reduce my contract bill. Said she was calling for EE or something like that. Total scam, obviously.

Got a call today from some woman with an American accent claiming she was from a federal investigation agency about my supposed “bitcoins” - which I don’t even own. I made sure not to say yes or confirm any details. She actually started shouting at me because I wasn’t giving in :)) Total scammers, no doubt. Ended up hanging up on her right in the middle of her rant.

Totally a scam, watch out!

Got a call from this number earlier, and after that typical delay you get with VoIP, a woman with an American accent rang claiming she was from Vodafone, trying to help me lower my bill. She then asked if I was running a limited company. When I questioned her about who she actually worked for, she mentioned something like plan.com and threw EE into the mix, asking me the question again. I didn’t bother answering and just told her I was going to hang up.

It’s pretty obvious this is a scam or spam. They ring like three times then just stop. Looks like all the other comments are right - just another spam call.

I got a call from a woman claiming to be with EE, saying she wanted to talk about my phone contract and how they could help me save some cash. It was pretty clear right away that the call was coming from a foreign call centre. I told her to take me off their call list and never ring me back again.

Got a call from this number but just let it ring and didn’t answer. No voicemail either. About a month back, almost the exact same number tried calling me and I did the same thing!

They rang but left no voicemail at all, so I reckon it's definitely one of those annoying spam calls.

I found the call really unsettling and confusing. The person asked if I was with Vodafone and wanted to switch to a better network deal. I told them I was happy with my current plan. Then they asked if my account was a business one, I said no, and they just said “OK thanks” and ended the call straight away. It left me feeling quite uneasy. Now I’m worried I might’ve made some kind of mistake and it’s making me feel pretty anxious.

Got a pretty sneaky scam call recently - some posh robotic voice telling me that if I wanted to stop them ringing me on this line, I should ring a number. Can't recall the digits, but it was definitely a premium rate one. Just hung up straight away and blocked the caller.
