Loads of calls lately from different numbers, both mobile and landlines, all saying they're from Three and offering a 40% discount on my phone upgrade and line rental. I'm actually with Three already, so it felt dodgy straight away. They were asking stuff that only the real company would know, which raised alarm bells. At one point, a bloke was on the phone then suddenly a woman took over. I called them out on it being a scam and just hung up. Honestly, don’t fall for it!

They're trying to get into your phone or computer and nick cash from your bank, no matter what story they feed you. Best thing is to just ignore and block them all.

This is the sixth call I have received from a number in this area. It seems that even when you block one number, they call again with a slightly different digit pattern at the end. If you listen carefully to the background noise, it becomes apparent that it is a call center - there are many voices and a lot of commotion, indicating that this is a large-scale scam operation.
