I got a call from someone claiming to be with EE, trying to get me to switch my mobile plan over to a business account.

I got a text from this number but no voicemail was left. The message claimed to be from EON Next, saying they need to take away my meters because supposedly they're "at the end of their life". My meters are perfectly fine though. From what I know, the actual EON Next would send a letter through the post, not text. I’ve blocked this number now. The genuine EON has my landline, but I’ve never shared my mobile with them. Feels like a scam to me.
