When I requested the name of the company to file a report with Action Fraud due to the suspicion that someone might be attempting to secure loans using my identity, the chap became quite disrespectful. He queried why I was bothering him with such questions, which I found rather frustrating.

Got a call claiming my loan got approved. They already knew my name and where I live. Even after I kept saying I never applied for any loan, the guy insisted and asked "So how come we have your info then?" I’m guessing they were trying to get my bank info or something.

I received a rather unsettling call on my mobile earlier today. The bloke was inquiring about a person whose name meant absolutely nothing to me. I made it quite clear, albeit rather rudely, that he should take his leave and refrain from ringing my number in the future.

Got a call from a lady with an Indian accent who said she had my name and claimed I applied for a £1000 loan. She couldn’t tell when I supposedly applied though. When I told her I hadn’t applied for any loan, she started copying the way I spoke. I just told her to piss off.

Received a rather peculiar call today from someone claiming to be in regards to a loan application. I promptly informed him that I had never taken out a loan, mortgage, or credit card. To my surprise, he switched gears and boldly asked if I would be his girlfriend! I decided to have a bit of fun with it and kept him chatting for a fair while, but eventually, my interest waned, and I ended the conversation. Quite the little amusement for the day, I must say. Frustrated, I found myself shouting at him, accusing him of trying to con me out of my personal information. He had the audacity to claim they had my details from an "online application." Honestly, I’ve never sought a loan online! In the end, I got a bit irate and he reluctantly said he’d cancel an application I never even submitted! Got a call from a bloke with a foreign accent claiming my loan was approved. I immediately said I never asked for any loan, but he insisted his company had sorted it out for me. He went on about payments and stuff, talking all detailed. While he was jabbering away, I quietly reached into my jacket pocket (I’m a teacher) and pulled out my whistle, gave it a huge blast right into the phone. Then I just hung up. Fingers crossed it rattled his ears good!
