I got a call about renewing insurance for kitchen appliances, saying I was owed a refund because I’d been overcharged before. Thing is, I’ve never actually had any insurance for kitchen stuff. I told the friendly woman on the phone, who had an Indian accent, that it sounded like a scam. She just ended the call right after that.
