I got a call from someone saying they were HMRC, told me there was some fraud with my details, and asked me to hit button 1. Total scam, obviously.

Didn’t pick up since the number looked unfamiliar. They didn’t leave any voicemail either. But after looking it up here, turns out this number’s been linked to quite a few scam calls before.

Like I usually do with numbers I don't recognise, I just stayed quiet. They ended up hanging up pretty quickly.
