I received a call purporting to be from Sovereign Solicitors based in Shipley concerning a no-fault accident claim...
(I've maintained nine years of no claims, mind you)

Yet, to my surprise, the call was routed from King's Lynn?

It felt very much like a bustling call centre in India. The lady on the line, who had a South Asian accent, seemed rather lost-she couldn't provide a single date regarding this so-called "accident," nor did she know my name, the make of my vehicle, or any substantial details whatsoever.

Without a doubt, this is a dodgy call regarding an accident purportedly from within the last couple of years. The speaker had a distinctly foreign accent, and I wouldn't be surprised if it's a case of number spoofing.

I received an unsolicited call from this number, supposedly representing RTA Assistance in Rhyl. However, I've done a bit of digging and discovered that RTA Assistance is actually located in Birmingham, and their website clearly states that they do not engage in cold calling. When I pointed out that my number is on the Telephone Preference Service list, the lady on the other end stubbornly claimed it wasn't a cold call; rather, she was offering help regarding a car accident-which is perplexing, as I’ve not been in one!
