The call came from a number with our area code, so I picked up. There was a recorded message saying our Amazon Prime membership was running out and that £95 had been withdrawn from our account. I didn’t press any buttons or follow their prompts. It’s clearly a scam, since we’ve never signed up for Prime. I reckon if I had pressed a button, they might’ve been able to get some info off me or keep ringing back. Total SCAM. Watch out if you see your local code popping up on your caller ID!
