I received a rather alarming notification regarding a £600 transaction on my Visa Mastercard, supposedly from an overseas institution. They instructed me to push 1 if I hadn’t authorised the charge. Instead of complying, I chose to hang up the phone instead.

Early this morning around half past eight, I got a call saying a strange transaction of £600 had been made on my Visa Mastercard from abroad. They asked me to press 1 if it wasn’t me who made the purchase. I didn’t press anything and just hung up. Later I contacted my credit card company to let them know what happened.
