I got a call from a woman with a strong foreign accent claiming she was part of Guaranteed Telecom. She said she wanted to set me up with some nuisance call blocking and asked to verify my card details for some monthly telephone fee. I was so caught up in what she was saying that I didn’t notice quickly enough how much info she was actually fishing for!
