I got a recorded message from someone called Shirley saying my IP address was hacked by a bunch of people and that it would be down in 24 hours or something like that. Total scam, obviously.

Got a couple of calls this arvo from someone called Shirley on a pre-recorded message, saying my internet would be cut off. Bit odd, really.

The number was unfamiliar, so when I answered, I just stayed quiet. After a moment of silence, the call ended. Sounds like some kind of automated cold call to me.

Got a call from a computer voice saying my internet was hacked by multiple countries and I needed to fix it for free by pressing 1 to talk to a technician. I figured hitting 1 would probably send me through to a premium number, so I just ended the call. This is the second time they’ve called me now.
