I received a call on my mobile last night from a firm claiming to be a pension helpline. I picked up, but before I knew it, they’d already disconnected. Curious as to why they’d cut the line, I rang them back only to hear, “I’m not sure,” before they promptly hung up once more! Determined to get to the bottom of it, I tried again, only for them to repeat the same behaviour. Quite baffling, really!

I had a rather curious experience with a company claiming to be a pension helpline. They rang me on my mobile last night, and when I picked up, they disconnected the call without a word. Naturally, I dialled them back to inquire about their abrupt departure, and their response was a rather vague, "I don't know," before they hung up on me once more. Undeterred, I tried a third time to ascertain their whereabouts, but would you believe it? They hung up again! Odd behaviour indeed - they wouldn't even divulge their identity.
