Received a call from this number at ten to four in the morning. I picked up, but there was silence on the other end, and when I tried returning the call, it went unanswered. Quite bizarre, to say the least!

Over the past couple of years, I've been getting calls from this number and other ones that start with 01744 88. I did raise the issue with my phone company once and they managed to put a stop to them for a while, but now they’re back again. Since 3rd February this year, I’ve been keeping a record of these calls. They come through at all sorts of times, anywhere between about 7pm and 8pm. When I try calling back, it just keeps ringing without anyone picking up. And if I do answer, all I hear sounds like a fax machine.

Got a call early morning around 7 or 8, it only rang once. When I called back, it was just a fax machine blaring loudly. Keeps happening too.
