got a message from a woman’s voice saying she’s calling from bt about my internet getting cut off in a day if i dont do something. sounds like those remote access scams where they try to make you believe your computer is broken and push you to buy some useless software. total scam! i just ended the call right away!

its a scam call for sure - fake bt tech support as usual. this time i was prepared cuz they said my internet would be cut off and i had to press one to fix it. so i pressed one, and as expected, got connected to some indian guy. i already figured out they just wanted me to download some virus so they could get into my pc. i wasted like 20 minutes messing with him. he got really mad when i told him from the start i knew it was a scam! watch out and block this number, unless you fancy wasting time with these scammers!

I keep gettin calls from a local Rainford number saying its Ofcom and that my internet will be cut off in 24 hours. This has been happening for months but the numbers keep changing, coming from various postcodes. Its strange how they seem to have real landline numbers, i dont understand where they find them all from.
