This afternoon, around 14:10 on the 15th of February, 2019, I received a rather dubious phone call claiming to be from BT. They alleged that my email address had been compromised and insisted that if I pressed 1, they'd assist me in setting up a new IP address. Naturally, I wasn't about to fall for that! I've heard all sorts about these scams, and frankly, I have no intention of racking up eye-watering charges for an imagined service. This marks the third time in the past few months I've had such a call, with dire warnings about my line being cut off - yet here I am, still connected and going about my business as usual!

Received a message claiming that my internet security has been breached and to press 1 for assistance. Total scam, if you ask me!
