Got a call from a number I didn’t know, it just rang for about 26 seconds then hung up without saying anything. I’ve blocked it now.

There’s always music and chatter playing in the background whenever these calls come through. Honestly, these scammers are some of the most irritating folks I’ve ever dealt with. It’s not just the occasional call anymore - it’s nonstop, from the moment I wake up right until I’m about to go to sleep. I’m young enough to recognise what’s going on, but older people really get hit the worst by this. The government really needs to step up and shield people from these heartless scammers. Anyway, that’s my little rant done.

they asked if i wanted to switch my energy provider but i dont trust em, felt like a scam to me. they already knew my address and im a pensioner who's been tricked before. feels like they got my details from some list of vulnerable folks who've been caught out already.

No messages were left, and when I rang them back all I could hear was music playing in the background. I just ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

didnt know the number so just let it ring out. they didnt leave any message either, so ive just put them on the blocklist now. honestly, ive got a bit worried about this site tho, whenever i write about a dodgy call, i seem to get a bunch more that same day! really makes me think...
